Climb Description
Cerro Becerrero is situated close to where the provinces of Sevilla, Málaga and Córdoba all meet. It is officially part of Sevilla, however, and as such is one of the most challenging climbs in the province (there is not too much competition!)The top of the climb is marked by a TV tower, and it is the final stretch from the town of Estepa to the tower where all the difficulty lies. Here the gradient is inconsistent, with several very steep ramps which test the legs. The views are the top are rewarding, offering some nice views in all directions. The ascent from La Salada is probably the easiest of the three sides, although there is not too much in it. It is the most convenient route if you are coming from the east and is a pleasant ride without being overly spectacular.
Cerro Becerrero is open throughout the year.
