Climb Description
The Collado de Quéntar is a pleasant climb with gentle gradients. There are nice views into the Sierra Nevada National Park and the descent from the top is especially picturesque as you pass two reservoirs. It is a good option to include as part of a longer route, or if you want to do an easier ride than some of the other options nearby.
Collado de Quéntar is open year round.
Roads & Traffic
The road is in excellent condition throughout the climb.
This is the main road to the villages of Dúdar and Quéntar, so there are some cars on the road, but it is not particularly busy or bothersome for cycling.
