Climb Description
Puerto del Espino is a pleasant climb in the west of the Málaga province of Andalucia which can be reached from several different sides and also incorporated with other ascents in the area to make an excellent longer route. It is the gateway between the Costa del Sol and the Grazalema Mountains, and is within comfortable riding distance of both. The climb from Cañada del Real Tesoro is the most steady and quietest of the various sides of Puerto del Espino. It is relatively easy and gentle, with pleasant scenery throughout, and is also the closest side to the Grazalema mountains.
From the top you can continue climbing the short (and steep) distance to the TV tower.
Puerto del Espino is open throughout the year.
