Climb Description
The climb to the village of Moclín is quite short, and also one of the most accessible in the Granada region. It finishes underneath the 14th century hilltop castle in Moclín and has pleasant views throughout as you climb through olive groves.The ascent from Puerto Lope is split into two sections, with a reasonably challenging first half, followed by a long false flat towards the top. The climb to Moclín is open throughout the year.

The road surface is in very good condition throughout.
The surface is in excellent condition and, after turning off the N-432 road, there is little traffic throughout.
