Climb Description
Polopos is an excellent climb situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the Alpujarran Mountains. It is one of the most scenic ascents in the area, with open views looking both down towards the sea, and towards the vast mountains in the distance. It is a reasonably steady climb, with many hairpins and tight bends keeping the gradient manageable. It can be also combined with one of several other nice climbs in the area to make for a great circular ride. The climb can also be continued to Haza del Lino, by turning right at the top of this ascent.
Polopos is open throughout the year.
