Climb Description
Puerto del Madroño is a climb which links the town of Ronda with the Costa del Sol (including Marbella and Estepona). The ascent via Pujerra is the quietest and by far the most pleasant side to ride. The scenery is open in places, and heads through olive groves and mountain landscapes.Puerto del Madroño is open throughout the year.
Roads & Traffic
The road surface is in good condition throughout.
There is little traffic for most of the climb; however the top joins the main road from Ronda to the Costa del Sol, which is busy and is best to avoid.
