Climb Description
Puerto Padrona is one of the longest climbs in the predominantly flat Sevilla region of Andalucia. It crosses the scenic Sierra Norte mountains, riding through quiet and pleasant, if slightly unspectacular scenery. From Pintado Reservoir the climb is very gentle - little more than a false flat for most of the way, and it is best included as part of a longer route around the Sierra Norte mountains. The climb starts near to the Via de la Plata route of the Camino de Santiago.
Puerto Padrona is open throughout the year.
