Climb Description
Coll d'Ordino is a pleasant climb which poses few difficulties for experienced cyclists. This is the longer and more challenging side, and it is also the slightly less scenic, with much of the ascent going through forests. It is a nice option to include as part of a longer route, rather than as a climb to do by itself. The first part of the climb from Andorra la Vella to Ordino is gentle and on a busy road, with several tunnels. If possible, we recommend starting in the town of Ordino itself, or arriving here via the Collada de Beixalís, instead of cycling along the main road.
Coll d'Ordino is usually kept open throughout the year; although short term closures are common in winter due to snow.

Roads & Traffic
The road surface is in very good condition. From Andorra la Vella to Ordino the road is quite busy with local traffic and there are a couple of fairly long tunnels to ride through, so
