Climb Description

Leitariegos from Caboalles is quite short and steady. This is the more scenic side to Leitariegos, offering some excellent views down into the valley on some of its hairping bends.

Leitariegos is often kept clear throughout the year to enable access to the ski resort at the top; however, it can get cold in winter, so come suitably prepared.

Roads & Traffic

The road is in very good condition and there is very little traffic on the climb.

Alternative Routes

Leitariegos can also be climbed from the north starting in Cangas del Narcea; the climb is quite a long slog from this side.
