Climb Description

Aritxulegi is a pleasant climb situated on the current border between Navarra and the Basque Country. This side begins from near the town of Oiartzun and is a nice ride to link in with some of the other climbs in the area. It is mostly in forest and there are no really spectacular views.

Aritxulegi is open throughout the year.

Roads & Traffic

The road is in good condition throughout.

There is very little traffic on this climb, but take care through the unlit tunnel at the top of the climb.

Alternative Routes

Aritxulegi can also be climbed from the west, starting near the Endara Reservoir.
