Climb Description

Azurki is a nice climb along narrow country lanes, directly to the west of the Pagoeta Natural Park. The climb from Zestoa is characterized by steep gradients, particularly in the first few kilometres as you climb out of Zestoa, but there are also flatter sections where the road plateaus, and also an extended downhill in the middle part of the ascent.

The scenery is very pleasant for much of the climb, with open views overlooking rolling green hills and the picturesque coastline.

Azurki is open throughout the year.

Roads & Traffic

The road is in very good condition and there is little traffic throughout the climb.

Azurki can also be climbed from Elgoibar and Azkoitia.
