Climb Description
Elosua is a really enjoyable climb from both sides and is perfect for including in a longer route. Most of the climb is in forest, but there is pleasant scenery and the good road surface and lack of traffic makes it well worth doing if you are in the area.A place of interest near to the start of the climb is the town of Loyola. This was the home town of Ingatius of Loyola. He founded the Jesuits - a powerful counter-reformation movement in Renaissance Europe. The town today is dominated by a large church complex that was built in honour of the martyred St Ignatius.
Elosua is open throughout the year.
