Climb Description
Jaizkibel is one of the most famous cycling climbs in the Basque Country. For many years it has been a key climb in the San Sebastían Classic, and it has even been included twice in recent years. The climb from Lezo is the more scenic of the two sides. It begins with a series of hairpins surrounded by trees; however, the road soon straightens out and the scenery opens up, offering glorious views out to the Bay of Biscay and across to France.
Jaizkibel is open throughout the year.
