Climb Description
Kurtzeta is a cycling climb in the Alava part of the Basque Country in Northern Spain. It is an inconsistent climb with some steep gradients in the second half. Kurtzeta is a commonly used climb on the Tour of the Basque Country cycling race.Much of the climb is forested, but the scenery does occasionally open up, with a few spectacular views into the nearby Urkiola Natural Park. Kurtzeta is open throughout the year.
Roads & Traffic
The road is in very good condition throughout. There is some traffic on the lower slopes of the climb, but it thins out considerably after passing through Ibarra (Aramaio).

Alternative Routes
