Climb Description
Puerto de las Señales is a really attractive climb on the edge of the Redes Natural Park. Either side of the climb is a high plateau with fine views across to several neighbouring mountain ranges. It is situated close to several other good climbs and is an excellent option to include on a longer ride.If it were not for the fairly poor road surface, this would be a **** or ***** climb based on scenery alone. Puerto de las Señs can close often during the winter following heavy snowfall.
Roads & Traffic
The road surface is in mixed condition. It is fully asphalted and at times is fine, but in other places it is broken up and is quite jarring, particularly when descending.
There is very little traffic throughout the climb.
