Climb Description

Els Angels from Madremanya is a short climb near the city of Girona in the Catalonia region of Northern Spain. It is popular with the many professional and amateur cyclists that reside in the area.

The climb finishes at the Els Angels chapel and is in trees throughout the ascent, so there are no spectacular views. Nevertheless, it is a quiet and pleasant climb which takes you from the foothills of the Pyrenees, to the flat lands around the Costa Brava (Wild Coast).

Els Angels is open throughout the year.

The road surface is in very good condition, and there is little traffic on the climb.
