Turó de l'Home meaning The Mountain of Man in Catalan is a challenging climb in the Montseny Natural Park. It has more elevation gain than any other road climb in Catalonia, and the uneven gradients in the second half of the climb make it a tough ascent.
From the top of the climb there are fantastic views of the Mediterranean coastline, and you can also see parts of Barcelona on a clear day. However, much of the climb itself is through forest and there are not that many spectacular views before you reach the top.
Turó de l'Home is usually open from mid April to November; although this can be extended depending on the weather during the winter. The road is not routinely cleared of snow.

Roads & Traffic
The road surface is generally in OK good condition. It is better on the lower slopes and does become slighlty bumpy in places towards the top of the climb. The last few hundred metres to the top of the climb after the car park is on a narrow track; you will have to carry your bike a short way to get to the very peak of the mountain.
There is generally little traffic on the climb; although its proximity to Barcelona means that it can get busy on weekends, particularly in the summer..
