Climb Description
O Xistral is a short and steep climb in the Xistral mountains near to Galicia's Atlantic coast. It climbs to a communication tower on top of one of the peaks in the range and offers some really nice views of the surrounding countryside. The climb can be combined with the first part of O Cadramón to make it into a much longer ascent. O Xistral is open throughout the year subject to weather; although bear in mind that rain and strong winds are quite common in this part of Galicia.
Roads & Traffic
The road is in fairly good condition. It is slightly rough in places, but generally fine for cycling on a road bike.
