Climb Description
The climb to Ayaguares is short and gentle, making it a good choice for families or riders who are not so keen on the longer, steeper ascents nearby.This route follows the GC-504 road, passing through the village of Ayagaures and the reservoir, before arriving at the viewpoint (mirador) which marks the top of the climb. It is a fun route with pleasant views throughout and some great hairpin bends near to the top.
Like all climbs in Gran Canaria, Ayagaures is open throughout the year.
Roads & Traffic
The road surface is generally in very good condition throughout, with just a few small cracked sections near to the top.
There is not a lot of traffic on the climb.

Alternative Routes
Ayagaures can also be climbed via the parallel GC-503 road, which also starts close to Maspalomas. This is a similar ascent, with mostly gentle gradients, and passes through the village of Monte León.Nearby Climbs
