Climb Description
Passo Campolongo from Arabba is the shortest and easiest of the climbs which make up the famous Sella Ronda loop, along with Passo Pordoi, Passo Sella and Passo Gardena. It is a pleasant ride with several hairpin bends and some views of some of the peaks of the Dolomites, although in terms of scenery it is the least impressive of the four climbs that make up the Sella Ronda.Passo Campolongo is too easy really to ride as a standalone climb, but links up with so many other great climbs in the area, that it is always full of cyclists.
Roads & Traffic
The road surface is in very good condition throughout. The climb gets very busy with cars and motorbikes in July and August, during the rest of the year the traffic is not too bad.
