Climb Description
Passo delle Erbe from Luson is a very nice cycling climb. It is long and challenging, but follows delightfully quiet roads. The first part of the ascent until Luson is more open and developed, after here it feels very remote, following a straightish road through forest to the top of the pass.It is probably our favourite way to reach Passo delle Erbe, although as it follows back roads, it is not one of the best known sides.
Passo dell Erbe is best climbed from May to October.
Roads & Traffic
The road surface is in mixed condition. At times it is perfect, and at other times it is a bit broken up. It poses no problems when climbing though.
This is the quietest ascent to Passo delle Erbe, with very little traffic, particularly once you have pased the village of Luson.
