Climb Description
Puerto de la Rasa is a high mountain pass in the Rioja region of northern Spain. The climb from the Iregua River is quite steady, although there are a couple of steeper kilometres near to the top. The scenery is mostly open with pleasant views across the rolling hills; unfortunately the poor road surface does take something away from the enjoyment of the climb.Puerto de la Rasa is open throughout the year subject to weather.
Roads & Traffic
The road is fully asphalted throughout, but it is a bumpy surface which is particularly uncomfortable when descending.
There is little traffic on the climb.
