Climb Description
Peña Hincada is a cycling pass in the Rioja region of Spain. On this, the western side, it is very gentle for the first 8km as the road runs alongside a stream. From the village of Brieva de Cameros the road kicks up and there are some challenging gradients in the final 5km to the top of the climb. The scenery here is pleasant and open, particularly after the switchbacks towards the top.Roads & Traffic
The road is in fairly good condition throughout. It is slightly bumpy but fine for riding on a road bike.
