Climb Description
This climb follows the Ma-1110 road from the village of S'Esgleita to Valldemossa. It is a reasonably scenic climb, passing through olive fields before climbing into the edge of the Tramuntana mountains. However, it is not one of our favourite climbs in Mallorca, because the road is often quite busy with traffic, including coaches, making it less pleasant than other options in the area.It is still worth visiting the town of Valldemossa though, which is home to a royal charterhouse dating from the 13th century, as well as a network of beautiful Medieval streets. We recommend arriving at the town via the quieter climbs of Coll d'en Claret or Can Costa.
The climb to Valldemossa is open throughout the year.
