Climb Description
Miserat is a picturesque climb that is within easy reach of many large towns along the Costa Blanca. This is by far the easiest side of the climb, and can be done immediately following a descent of Port d'Ebo to make a short and punchy circular ride from the coast.Miserat is the highest point in the area, and so offers fine views in all directions; including of the Costa Blanca as well as the scenic Gallinera and Ebo valleys.
Roads & Traffic
The road surface is generally in quite poor condition, with regular pot-holes and gravel sections throughout the first 5km of the climb. It is, however, possible to pick a line easily of smooth asphalt when you are ascending. Descending this way is more complicated though and
you should be cautious. The final kilometre has recently been resurfaced and is in excellent condition.
Traffic is practically non-existant throughout the climb.
