Climb Description
Port de Benifallim is a popular climb with cyclists from Alcoy, as well as with professionals doing their winter training camps along the Costa Blanca. The climb from Xixona is long and very gentle, with no seriously steep sections. It is an excellent choice to include as part of a long ride.The climb passes through nice scenery, notably many almond groves which are characteristic of the region. The nearby town of Xixona is famous for producing turrón - an almond sweet which is extremely popular throughout Spain around Christmas time.
Port de Benifallim is usually open throughout the year.
