Climb Description
El Revolcat is a short and fairly steady climb out of Alcoy and into the mountain roads of the Alicante province. It is a nice way to leave the city, with views overlooking the dramatic Barranc del Cint gorge. It's best to continue over the top of the climb, descending down to Benilloba and to link it with one of the other great climbs in this neck of the woods.
El Revolcat is open throughout the whole year.
Roads & Traffic
The road is in excellent condition throughout.
There is some traffic in the first couple of kilometres, but it's slow moving and no problem at all for cycling. The second half of the climb is very quiet.
